The apartment is a short 2.5 blocks from L/G at Lorimer Metropolitan and 6 blocks to the JMZ at Hewes, a short bikable distance from the Williamsburg bridge. It's a 4th-floor walkup (the top floor). The contract duration is negotiable. There are south-facing windows that overlook a community garden from the master bedroom. The second bedroom is small, but has a queen-sized Murphy bed; it also has a regular desk and a standing desk. The sofa in the living room converts to a twin bed. The rest of the apartment, which has east-facing windows, is bright and functional. There's a delightful breeze from the garden in the warmer months. Gas stove in the kitchen; good water pressure. Two AC units are included for the hottest days. The apartment is furnished with a blue-ray player with short-throw projector for watching movies, surround speakers, and a small dishwasher. The dining table seats 10 or folds closed. There's space for 3 bikes and overhead storage spaces. Lots of home-built shelves. I've now put my stuff in storage so the shelves/walls are empty and the plants are with friends. The kitchen still has everything you need, plus a pizza stone. It's $1700 including utilities (gas, water, electric). Deposit includes last month's rent.
