Description

Why are you looking for a renter? Hi! Looking for positive, friendly, responsible, busy professional to sublet a fantastic bedroom for one or two months (March 1-April 30) No shorter time frames (i.e. a few weeks), with the option to stay on and renew the lease starting May 1 with the two other girls living here. Female or Male, late 20's-mid 30's. I have lived here for a wonderful 5 years, however, found a studio I love and jumped at the opportunity, hence, I am leaving 2 months before the lease is up. This is an amazing opportunity to live in the best neighborhood in a luxury building at a fraction of the cost! 1 month deposit paid upon agreeing to sublet, first month paid the day before moving in. The deposit will be used as the second months rent. If interested, please send an email describing you, what you do in your spare time, how long you've been in the city, your current job etc....the more detail the better! Monthly rent & mandatory expenses breakdown (All expenses are split equally 3 ways. Approx. amounts listed are per person.) Rent: $1855/mo Security deposit: 1mo rent ($1855) Cable/Internet: $40/mo approx. ConEd (ranges): $35 - $60/mo Cleaning crew (1x/mo): $40/mo (approx.) Apt Supplies (ranges): $0 - $20/mo, as needed Gym: Already paid for through April, lucky you can use free of charge. $100/year if sign 1 year lease May 1. **If you are interested in continuing on and joining the lease May 1, there are specific requirements that must be met by the management company, including proof of total income (including bonus) of at least $110k/year. Building & Apt Details Stellar building & location! West Village/Meatpacking area, next to the Highline and Whitney Museum. It's a full-service 24hr doorman elevator rental building with laundry, gym & amazing common roof deck boasting lounge furniture, grills, sinks and amazing 360-city & river views. The apt is equipped with 2 full bathrooms, dishwasher, AC & located on the sunny 9th floor of the 10-story building. N & W views of Hudson River & Meatpacking area. The common area (living room) is pretty compact, but very functional, as it includes a large sofa, smart TV, high sitting table. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Bike room spaces are free. Small galley kitchen with bad ventilation so not ideal for a lot of cooking. The gym has anything you need for a solid workout (treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, free weights, machines, bench, barre, etc) at no extra cost to you for the two months. You are about a six minute walk (NY speed) to the 14th Street A/C/E/L, and a couple of minutes further to the 1/2/3. If you are not familiar with the area, I'm happy to answer any questions! *Floor plan attached with room dimensions & apt layout. Room Details The available room (bedroom #2 on floorplan) is sunny, has N-facing window and a killer 9 foot long closet that extends the length of the spacious room and has built in shelving. The room will be empty/unfurnished as I will be taking my things with me so BYO bedroom furniture. There is potential to buy my dresser and a tall free standing mirror, TBD I will know in the next few weeks. The bed side table on the wall can stay, otherwise, only a bed is really needed due to the amazing closet space. A brand new quality queen blow up mattress can be provided if need be. The room will be cleaned before move in.***This room shares bathroom #2 with a female so please be clean:) About you Positive, nice, friendly, thoughtful, respectful, easy-going, responsible, fun & drama-free! Clean, tidy, & will be mindful of roommates by keeping common areas clutter free. You chip in with general maintenance of apartment (i.e taking out garbage, unload dishwasher, etc). Sorry, no pets & no smoking in apt. About us 2 female 30-something busy professionals. One works for various startups in a freelance capacity and the other doing compliance work at a large bank. Positive, spiritual, laid-back, fun, social, responsible, nice, thoughtful, organized, neat & clean. Into healthy lifestyle, travel, gym, running, yoga, fashion, sports, music, the arts, nightlife, food, drinks, charity, etc. Love to be active! Overall keep pretty busy. One girl has lived in this apartment 7yrs and been in NYC for 14yrs and the 2nd female will have lived here for 1yr in May. If you have made it through this lengthy post and are still interested, you are probably a great match for the apartment. Please respond and I will be in touch ASAP. Cheers! What do you love about this place? Everything What isn’t so great about this place? Nothing, it is a gem if you are looking for a roommate situation in the West Village.
