I cannot recommend the apartment enough to anyone looking for a centrally located, rent-controlled apartment located on the corner of Franklin St. and Sacramento St. The apartment is one block from Whole Foods, Lafayette Park, and Van Ness, with tech buses and public transportation in all directions. Two blocks to Polk Street and tons of restaurant and services as well as a 10 minute walk to the Marina (Chestnut Street and Union Street) and 10 minute walk to Fillmore Street. #1 Bus runs directly to building + 47, 49, 19, 27 and cable car are all within a few blocks.
