THE GOOD: Pets welcome. This 500sq foot one bedroom (it was listed as a 2 wing bedroom, but that just means there are two rooms that will fit a queen bed) couldn't get more centrally located if you tried. It's two blocks from Washington Square Park, and is directly across the street from the iconic Comedy Cellar, Cafe Wha? and Mamouns. Despite the weekend nuts out the front door, it is incredibly, calm, dark and quiet on the inside, and the private backyard is a lovely escape from the madness of the city. It also has a ton of storage space - two closets and three storage nooks, tucked into the high ceilings. The super is spectacular and keeps things very clean. No bug, rodent or other problems. The apartment is first floor, so no walking up stairs! THE BAD The bathroom is very small, so small that the sink takes a bit of shimmying to actually be able to use it. There is a small dishwasher, but it was installed next to the front door so it doesn't open all the way. While the kitchen is actually quite sizable, the way the shelving was installed means there is only space for a half fridge.
