Looking for a chill, respectful roommate to join a month-to-month lease ASAP! The lease goes until September 1, with option to renegotiate month-to-month until April 1, 2021. This means you can move out with 30 days' notice. Your room: 1 true bedroom, unfurnished, though it can come with an Ikea wardrobe since it doesn't have a built-in closet. Enough space for a full or queen sized bed. It can come with a full-sized bed frame (no mattress). One tall window with fire escape access. The rest of the apartment: mostly furnished! An amazing modern 3br/1ba 4th floor walkup across from Central Park and in walking distance to Columbia. Spacious, super quiet, and light-filled. (Note that except for the first two photos, all the pics are of the apartment staged.) The details: - $1200/month + utilities (usually $20-40/pp) and WiFi ($25/pp) - Recently gut renovated and features modern appliances and tall ceilings - Dishwasher - Central A/C - Combined washer/dryer IN UNIT, plus extra laundry machines in the basement - Modern bathroom with rain shower - Storage unit, bike storage, and a small gym in the apartment complex - Beautiful rooftop access overlooking Central Park - Cats welcome! Dogs okay on a case-by-case basis. There won't be other pets here unless you bring one! Transportation: - Less than 1 min from the 110 St B/C stop - Less than 10 mins from the 1 at 110 St and the 2/3 at 110 St - Multiple bus lines nearby, including cross-town buses I'm coming up on 1 year here and absolutely love this apartment! The neighborhood is so peaceful and lovely, and being across from Central Park is unparalleled. Our super is amazing and responds instantly to maintenance needs, of which there are rarely any. The space itself is clean, modern, and quiet. There's plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby, and we're 10-15 mins away by foot from Whole Foods, Key Food, and Trader Joe's. About me: I’m a 26 year old female and do freelance tutoring/writing/editing, so I do sometimes keep odd work hours and work from home. I'm quiet and respectful, a bit of a clean freak. I like to have my alone time and to hang out with friends or my roomies in the apartment as well - it's all about the balance. Otherwise, I like to stay busy and am often out of the apartment exploring, working out, or seeing friends. About you: Open to everyone but women preferred! This apartment is a home and a haven, and I'd love to keep it that way. The previous roommates were working professionals and we liked to have a quiet, relaxing space to all come home to, as well as prioritized a clean, tidy space where we all shared chores. Please no smoking or drug use inside the apartment. Friends over and overnight guests totally fine, but this is not a place to party or host extended visitors.
