Furnished 2BR/1BR with a walkability score of 92 and free street parking. Meaning no permit is required, which is RARE in DC. This recently renovated spot totes granite countertops featuring a bar and island, grayish hardwood floors, a fully tiled bathroom, two queen beds, and a washer/dryer in the unit. The building is nice and full of professionals, students, and families. Just a short commute via bus/car/metro into downtown. Perfect for travel nurse, students, intern housing, IMF/World Bank employees, and all forms of long-term stays, especially if you have a car. What isn't so great about this place? I truly love it. The closest metro station is Petworth/Georgia Ave, which is a 20 minute walk. However I used to take a Uber/Lyft pool into downtown every day for $3-5, which was much cheaper and reliable than the metro. Alternatively, an 8 minute bus ride (via E4) takes you to Fort Totten Station where you can take red/green line metro anywhere in DC. $2500/month for the whole apartment until May, includes water and gas. Tenants will be responsible for electricity and cable/internet. (Willing to cover electricity up to $75).
