Private room in Fort Greene, NY

Why are you looking for a renter? My current roommate is moving in with her partner and I need a new roommate!! This is a great apartment with lots of natural light, in unit laundry, dish washer, and the kitchen is outfitted for all kinds of cooking (also have composting set up)... I have some hallway storage space outside of the apartment as well. The apartment was renovated last year before I moved in so its all new appliances and nice finishes. Depending on the length of your stay, we can also be flexible on security deposit and furnishings (currently furnished as seen in the photos). Looking for a mid-May move in, but we can also chat about June 1. The room available has a large closet, queen sized bed, 2 windows and plenty of space. The Neighborhood- Fort Greene meets Downtown Brooklyn meets Barclays Center / Atlantic Terminal. This apartment is so convenient and at the cross roads of lots of great neighborhoods. We are super close to most of the major Brooklyn subway lines (5 min or less walk to the C/G/B/Q/R/N/D/5/6/2/3 and the LIRR). We are also just above a 24 hour grocery (Mr. Mango) which is very nice to have. About Me- I'm pretty laid back and get along with most folks. I do alot of cooking, gardening and local food stuff so someone with those interests would be great - but no worries if not. Mostly just looking for a mature, laid back roommate who has interests and is interesting without drama. I have also done alot of world travel (I work in international development) so multi- cultural living is also great!
