Description
Why are you looking for a renter? I signed a lease on this apartment in late December to start in early February this year, 2020. I was so extremely excited to move in, it is absolutely adorable and in the most fantastic location. Unfortunately, my life plans have changed and I am no longer moving to NYC. I paid the full 15% brokers fee, signed the lease, and put my money down for security deposit and first months rent. Really need to find someone to take over the lease (Landlord is willing to break mine and do a fresh one for a new qualified tenant) before my lease was to begin so I can get my money back. What do you love about this place? This place is so adorable! It’s on the top floor (so even has a small skylight) of a five story brownstone on one of maybe the prettiest blocks in NYC. It’s a small-ish one bedroom with a fireplace and mantle, a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom, and even a tiny elevator in the building. They also allow pets. Super clean, feels fresh and new, but with old world charm like crown moldings and high ceilings and big windows. It’s so lovable. What isn't so great about this place? It is somewhat tight on closet space (only one in the bedroom ), but the current tenant had an armoire in the living room and felt that was sufficient. It is a prewar building, so no laundry, however other tenants in the building and said they love wash and fold services nearby and they would never get back to doing their own laundry now, haha.
