Private room in Park Slope, NY

Why are you looking for a renter? My work is taking me to Los Angeles from April 8th through the end of July. I'm looking for a renter to take over my room during that time. I live with one 28-year old male, and I want to make sure to find him a kind and courteous roommate while I am gone. I also understand that a many summer tenants need a place through August, so while a July 31 move out is preferable, there is flexibility to stay through part or all of August. Also if you're interested in moving in before May 1st we are flexibile on that end as well! What do you love about this place? Our apartment is massive for the location and the price. I love our living space, big enough for a full couch and multiple chairs. We have a huge sunroof over our kitchen that allows for amazing natural light. The apartment is a short 1.5 blocks from the 7th Ave F/G stop, so it is always easy to get to the Manhattan-bound train. There are only two tenants in the entire building (including us) so it really feels more like a home than a crowded apartment building. The apartment is also a quick 10-minute walk from Prospect Park. The area is incredibly safe and full of great restaurants and bars. What isn't so great about this place? There is no in-unit or in-building laundry. There's a drop off service that we use occasionally that is great, but a little pricey. The closest cheap laundro-mat is a a 7 minute walk, so it can be annoying to lug a big bag of laundry that way. However it is better in the Summer than in the Winter!
