Room Offered: I'm looking to find a roommate to take over the second room in my apartment starting May 1st. It's in Harlem on 122nd street, three minutes from the 125th Street 4/5/6 express stop and the Metro North station. It's also a 10-minute walk from the 2/3 125th Street express stop. The apartment itself is a gorgeous, 2-bedroom apartment that was recently renovated with new hardwood floors, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. It's also a short walk from Marcus Garvey park. About the apartment: • $1400/month (will also need to include a 1-month security deposit) • Individual room is approximately 200-250 square feet with a large closet • May 1st move-in, I'm already on the lease, but you'd be signing up to be the second person on the lease, that said, you'll have to go through standard apartment procedures (credit check, lease signing, etc.) • 12th (top) floor of an elevator building • Utilities included (heat, hot water, electricity) • Super close to the train and quick access to downtown Manhattan • Pet friendly • Massive living room/kitchen • My robot vacuum cleans the floor for us once a day • Close access to grocery stores (Whole Foods and City Fresh) • Laundromats closeby Info about me: I'm a queer 29-year-old graphic designer from New York who works right by Grand Central.
