Private room in Carroll Gardens, NY

Why are you looking for a renter? My roommate and I are out of NYC as a result of the pandemic and would love good humans to save our plants from starving! What do you love about this place? Carroll Gardens is a truly beautiful old Italian neighborhood. There are an enormous variety of incredible restaurants and food options, and it's a short walk to Cobble Hill or Red Hook or Gowanus. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods are both about a 15 min walk away; laundry less than two blocks away. Carroll Park and Cobble Hill Park are nearby, and I often walk up to Brooklyn Bridge Park on off Atlantic, or Prospect Park, both of which are about 25 min. Honestly, there's too much cool stuff nearby to list. My roommate is queer, incredibly kind and conscientious (think: all dishes are washed when we go to sleep, always). His friend will be subletting in October. What isn't so great about this place? We live next to the BQE, so there is a steady thrum of traffic and a light rumble like if you were to live near an overhead train. And the bathroom is very small. This is a unique situation, as the apartment is available for over a month, but I know I'll be returning on Jan. 27 so it doesn't go all the way till February. Hopefully that's ideal or helpful to you in some way! You'll also have the entire 2BR to yourself for at least two weeks during that period. Any q's, feel free to ask! Thanks -
