Why are you looking for a renter? I'm a recently graduated master's student of design history and material culture, returning home for the summer. Now looking for the right subletter to live with my great roommate. My roommate is completing his MFA in writing at Columbia. What do you love about this place? I am subletting my sunny, sweet, spacious room in an Astoria 2BR apartment. Sharing with one other person who is quiet, clean, and considerate. The apartment is bright and high-ceilinged, with a fully equipped eat-in kitchen and bathroom with clawfoot tub. The room has two windows that overlook a private garden plus an ultra-comfortable double bed, dresser, desk, and plants. Astoria is a charming neighborhood where you'll wake up to birds singing. The apartment is around the corner from restaurants, cafes, bars, gym//pilates studios, and grocery stores. Also N, W, R, and M subway lines. Short walk to Astoria Pool and Park, NY Ferry, Socrates Sculpture Garden, Noguchi Museum, and MoMA PS1. Manhattan, Long Island City, and Greenpoint are accessible by train and ferry.
