The apartment is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit with a large living area and open kitchen. The building is dog friendly. The lease ends June 15, 2021, with an option to extend to March 15, 2022. My wife and I are moving out because we'd like even more space to accommodate a growing family. Official monthly rent is $6145, but I'm offering 4 months of free rent. Assuming a September 1 move-in, this gives a net effective rent of $3557/mo over an 9.5 month lease. Earlier move-in dates are also available. This is an enormous discount compared to the other currently listed units in the building, and vs. other comparable buildings in the area. Other features to note about the apartment and the building: * Washer/dryer in unit. * Dishwasher * 24-hour staffed front desk and mailroom. * The unit is on the top floor (no upstairs neighbors!) * Built-in air conditioner/heating units (no need for window units). * There is a roof deck with picnic tables and a grill one flight up. The roof deck doesn't include the area directly above the unit, so we haven't had any issues with noise from the roof deck in the apartment. * The building is surrounded by parks and public space, including a large astroturf field with a jogging track, a riverfront park with a dog run, and the Hudson Yards area. * The building has a gym and indoor lap pool. They aren't currently open, but presumably will be once some of the restrictions that apply to NYC are relaxed.
