Why are you looking for a renter? After 7+ years at my company, I'm taking a sabbatical and traveling for a little over a month. I am hoping to short-term sublet for the month or so that I will be away (preferably the full month but open to shorter terms). What do you love about this place? Modern building with plenty of amenities and close to just about every train line! You can be anywhere in downtown Manhattan in 10 - 15 minutes and in Brooklyn Heights, Downtown Brooklyn, Fort Greene and Clinton Hill just as quickly. AVAILABLE FROM 1/1/19 - 2/3/19 (slightly over a month) Building Details: • Full-service, full-time doorman condo building • Recently renovated gym (no additional access fee) • Huge laundry room – always has available washers and dryers • Large grocery store (open 6 AM – 11 PM) directly next door, on the same block • Dry cleaners + wash and fold laundry service: storefront access through the building lobby (AND you can pick up with the doormen after business hours) • Roof deck access (maybe it will be a mild January?) with views of the East River, One World Trade, lower Manhattan, and Brooklyn as well as fifth floor garden area outdoor access • Common area with TV, pool table, and kitchenette Location: • 2, 3, A, and C trains are 3 – 4 minutes away • 4, 5, J, and Z trains are 5 minutes away • 1, E, R, W, and 6 trains are 7 – 9 minutes away • The Seaport District is within a couple minutes to the east and the East River bikeway / running path (easy access to the Hudson River side from here also) is 3 minutes away • Fulton Center, the Oculus / Westfield Mall, Brookfield Place, and One World Trade are 5 - 7 minutes to the west • Brooklyn Heights is one stop away on the A and C, and two stops away on the 2 and 3 Apartment Details: • Fully (and recently) furnished; bedding provided and extra towels available if needed • 5G Verizon FiOS WiFi • Loft space with 11.5 foot ceilings and plenty of daytime light • Combined corner heating and AC unit that can cool or warm the entire unit within minutes • Multi-functional with separated “bedroom,” living/dining, and work areas • Living Room: Large sectional couch, 4 leather dining / side chairs, mini-bar, and 50-inch TV with DirecTV Now, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Video • Dining Area: Drop-leaf dining table accessible via kitchen island pass-through + 4 dining chairs • Kitchen: Separated fully-stocked kitchen: stainless steel appliances, full-size dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker (K cup and full pot), toaster, blender, cooking utensils, pots and pans • Bedroom: Queen sized-bed with memory foam mattress, nightstand tables with reading lamps on either side. Adjacent windows have blinds and remote-operated blackout shade. The neighborhood has every convenience at your doorstep with the amount of stores and restaurants within 10 minutes and it's really accessible... BUT, it doesn't yet have the same character and "scene" as a lot of other downtown Manhattan neighborhoods when it comes to going out.
