I’m moving to the West Coast and need someone to take over my room until the end of June (6/30) when the lease ends. AVAILABLE ROOM: It’s a room in a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath apartment in Laurence Towers (200 East 3rd Street). The available room is furnished, spacious, and has a huge balcony! The earliest move-in date is April 13th since I will be moving out April 12th. Since this isn’t the full month, I would only charge you a prorated amount of $846 for April since there will only be 18 days left in the month. APARTMENT The entire apartment is already furnished and the kitchen is fully equipped. The other two roommates work in banking and are really friendly and clean. BUILDING: The building is really nice and has: • Multiple elevators; • 24-hour doorman; • Laundry in building; and • Fitness Center (you have to pay for this separately) • Live-In Resident Manager NEIGHBORHOOD: The neighborhood has excellent restaurants, pubs, cool cafés, and specialty shops. You can buy your groceries at the neighborhood Fairway Market and Trader Joe’s that’s less than a block away. The AMC Kips Bay 15 is also right around the corner. Also, you can bike or run along the East River. This building is ideal for young professionals and commuters. The area is close to Midtown, the Flatiron District and NoMad, and steps from the NYU Langone Medical Center and its medical and dental schools.
