Private room in Manhattan, NY

3 beds

1.5 baths

Fully furnished

Description

I am a 24 year old upcoming graduate of NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. I currently live with two clean, respectful, professional men (a 29 year old doctor from India & a 23 year old Tennis Coach) in a 3 bedroom & 1.5 bathroom, Upper East Manhattan Apartment right at the North East corner of Central Park (110th street and 5th Avenue). Recently, I lost my job with a national criminal justice non profit due to COVID-19 layoffs. I was fortunate to find a new full-time opportunity but it is located in Washington, DC. Therefore, I would need another working professional to take over my lease starting May 1st, no later than May 15th, until the end of the lease on September 30, 2020. There is also the option to renew the lease with my current roommates for one year. My room is the second largest room and is $1,340 per month. This includes rent, electricity, hot water, and gas. Your portion of the WiFi is $18. You won’t need to purchase any additional furniture. The room also comes with a large closet, a full-size bed, a dresser, a night stand, and a wall unit AC. You’ll also have great views during the day and night since the apartment is located on the 32nd floor. The apartment features hardwood floors, a separate full-size designer kitchen with oversized stainless steel appliances and an abundance of cabinets and counter space. The apartment also has a large walk-in closet where you can store seasonal clothes, luggage, etc. Both bathrooms are also newly renovated. The apartment also has a balcony and fit table and chairs for you and your guests. The building is very clean and safe. It has a 24-hour doorman for security, a Parking Garage, a full-size laundry room, amazon delivery boxes, and Fantastic Central Park or Eastern City Views. The Windows in all of the building have been redone and are enormous at over 5 feet tall and 9 feet wide. You’ll be located ONE block from the 2,3 110th Street Lenox Avenue Train Station and THREE blocks from the 6 110th Street Lexington Avenue Train Station. The apartment is right above a grocery store and located on the luxurious 5th avenue. It is also walking distance from museums and Mt Sinai Hospital. What do you love about this place? My roommates are respectful, clean, and polite. Plus, the place is next to central park and minutes away from buses and trains. What isn't so great about this place? It's located in NYC and I have a new job in DC.
