Private room in Bay Ridge, NY

About the house: This is the largest room in the house and faces the backyard so no street noise. The house itself is old but is pest free and huge. There are three other rooms, including a flex room. The flex room is attached to a balcony which is accessible to everyone. Also, the house is not wheelchair accessible and it's on the 2nd floor. About the roommates: There are 4 other girls between 23-29 yrs old, mostly vegan and NYU grad students. D and M are graduating this month in Computer Science and Architecture. A and R are in their first yr of grad school studying Construction Management and Environmental Science respectively. They all work part-time though right now everyone is home at all times. Everyone helps with cleaning once a week. About the room: The room has a massive closet and two windows so there is always natural light. It comes with a twin bed frame, a table and the utilities are included in the rent. Why are you looking for a renter? I am moving out of the country and don't want to leave my roommates high and dry. Pros: - Utilities included (AC bill is not included). - 2 blocks from R train. What do you love about this place? It's next to the 5th Avenue road and has plenty of grocery, bodegas and middle eastern hubs. It's family-oriented, extremely peaceful, 20 min walk away from the pier, clean and safe. What isn't so great about this place? There are 4 more people who stay here though each one has a different schedule so using the bathroom has never been a problem. And the house is old but the owner is responsive. Ideal roommate: - Students are welcome. - POC friendly. - No loud parties.
