Why are you looking for a renter? I'm a graduating senior at the University of Chicago, and I'm looking to sublet out my room for the remainder of my lease after I graduate and move away. What do you love about this place? It's crazy conveniently located. It's 2 blocks from campus, 3 blocks from a brand new Jewel Osco, and steps away from multiple methods of transportation. It's also a cool building, and the apartment has really large living spaces, including a formal dining room, which you don't often find in Hyde Park. I personally love the built in bookshelf/fireplace feature in the dining room. What isn't so great about this place? The rug in the living room is definitely not the nicest I've ever seen. It's like.... wicker? Here's a more full description of the apartment and the room: I am subletting my room in a 3br, 1.5 br apartment on 61st & Ellis, only a 5 minute walk to the main UChicago campus! The landlords ONLY RENT TO STUDENTS, so you must be enrolled in either a bachelors or graduate school program (at any college/university). The room will be available from June 18th to August 31st, and rent is $600/mo + utilities (gas and electric). Parking in the back parking lot is available for $50/mo. The bedroom is spacious, quiet, and has a private attached half bath. There is no closet, but there is a large combo wardrobe/dresser as well as a clothes rack for longer hanging items.
