Private room in Jamaica Plain, MA

AUGUST SUBLET We are searching for a roommate to fill a room in our awesome 3 bed apartment in JP that is open now through 8/31 (no option to re sign the lease, sorry). The apartment is located in central JP right off Centre Street. 39 bus picks up right at the end of the street and it's less than a 5 minute walk to the Green St. stop on the Orange Line. The apartment is big, with a large living room, dining room, kitchen, front and back deck. It's an older building and not recently renovated but the apartment has a lot of character and is very comfortable. You would be taking the largest sized room of the three rooms, which fits a full or queen bed with a dresser and desk comfortably, still with extra space. The rent is $930 a month not including utilities, which on average will be ~$50 extra a month with heat, hot water, electricity, gas, and internet (more in the winter, cheaper in the summer). About the roommates: two young professionals, one female and one male. I'm moving out due to changes with work, but I have lived here for almost 6 years and will be sad to go. The other roommates get along well and like to maintain a friendly atmosphere in the apartment but each has her/his own interests and maintains their own schedules. We are pretty laid back about having people over and entertaining, however we are respectful of each other and our work schedules and don't like to bring the party home. We are looking for another young professional who is laid back yet respectful, LGBTQ friendly, any gender. No pets per the lease. We would be happy to send over pictures and coordinate a time to meet virtually over the next couple of weeks, and if a good fit we could set up an in-person showing with proper PPE.
