Are there extra protections for Caretaker managed apartments?

We offer extra protection for listings that are managed by Caretaker in case a landlord or property manager prevents you from moving in as scheduled. In the rare event that this happens, here's what we'll do:

• If you're move-in is delayed past the move-in date Caretaker has offered, we'll put you up in a hotel while your application is under review
• If your unable to move in, Caretaker will find an alternative home for you to stay in for the upcoming month. You will never pay more in rent than you applied for. During that month, we'll help you find a new home and do whatever we can to get you approved

No matter what, Caretaker will ensure that you have a home and that you find an apartment that you are happy with.

These protections apply to all renters who meet our standard application criteria. If your application does not meet those criteria you can still be accepted for a Caretaker managed apartment, but will not be covered by these protections.
