Why do I need additional verification for my payouts?

We process our rent payouts through Stripe. Stripe initially collects limited personal information about you to begin issuing payouts, but may require more verification as needed to comply with Know Your Customer laws.

This can include one or more of the following:

• Last 4 digits of your Social Security Number
• Date of Birth
• Address
• Full Social Security Number
• Identity document

We'll attempt to proactively notify you if Stripe is requesting additional information about you before you miss any rent payouts. Stripe will block your account from receiving additional rent payouts until you complete their requested verification check(s).
